Supervision
Supervision for students and professionals
Supervision is an integral part of psychotherapist training and development. Supervision is designed to support ethical, competent psychotherapy practice; enhance clinical skills and professional development; develop and assess core competencies, goals, self-of-the-therapist, ethical considerations, administration policies; support reflective practice; and promote safe and effective client care.
I offer individual and dyadic supervision to students and early-career professionals, in line with the expectations from the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).
My approach to clinical supervision is warm, compassionate, and collaborative, with a focus on creating a supportive and safe(r) space where supervisees feel comfortable reflecting openly and honestly on their work. I offer supervision to clinicians using a postmodern approach, including Dialogic Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Emotionally-Focused Couple’s Therapy, and am passionate about supporting therapists who wish to work with queer populations, neurodivergent people, and those living with chronic pain, illness, and/or disability. A free consultation is available if you think we might be a good fit.
